2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server itself is located in a data centre in Helsinki, Finland. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.
When you open the website, the web server processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address and the page or file requested. This processing is required to deliver the content to your device. Permanent logging of regular page views is not enabled on this web server. Security-relevant error messages may be stored in the server's system logs; they are overwritten automatically once the limited log size is reached.
This processing serves the secure and stable provision of the site as well as the detection and prevention of attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of this website.
3. Getting in touch
If you contact us by email, we process the information you send in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in all other cases. Our legitimate interest lies in responding appropriately to enquiries. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for further storage remain.
4. Cookies, tracking and external content
This website uses no analytics or marketing services, loads no third-party content, and uses no cookies or comparable storage techniques beyond what is technically necessary. The fonts, scripts and media used are served locally from our own server.
5. External links
This website links to independent services, including Nexus, Salamandra and music streaming providers. The privacy terms of the respective provider apply only once you open those links.
6. Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose, or for as long as statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for further storage exist. The relevant criteria are described in the sections above.
7. Your rights
Within the statutory requirements you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for the seat of RNDM Gizmo is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
